Pastels for Spring:

I am so ready for spring and the beauty of nature that follows
birds' singing, flowers, fresh air, sun,
 green grass, and warmer weather!

  1. I'm right with you on this one...love those pastels, how pretty, what is the stitch? Is this crochet or weaving...? It is lovely and today here in NE Ohio, it is cold, and dreary...so a little color is a wonderful thing...thanks for stopping by my place and leaving a comment.

  2. What a beautiful afghan! Love the pastels and it reminds me of a well loved old quilt. I'm not fond of winter, but not sure I'm ready for spring either. The snakes will be back out. :( :O

  3. Thank you ladies for the nice words! I too, live in Ohio and yes, it is cold! Burr!! My afghan is made up of two strands of yarn and can be found in this book: Afghans on the Double - Leisure Arts, Inc, The name of the afghan is: Discriminating Taste, page 56. I love this book and I love this pattern. I have made so many afghans using this pattern and my imagination. The good thing is that it is a very easy pattern to follow. Hint: I made the afghans bigger than the pattern because I found that it was too narrow. Ready for warmer weather! I hear you about the snakes, I am originally from the south and oh the mosquitoes. Have a lovely day!
